Black and white kinescope of the original full-game NBC broadcast of Game 3 of the 1965 World Series. The '65 Series is the oldest for which broadcasts of the entire series exist, thanks to the CBC archives, where this copy comes from.
The Dodgers' Claude Osteen was the first LA pitcher to solve the Twins' lineup, scattering just five hits in a nine-inning complete game shutout. John Roseboro broke a scoreless tie in the fourth with a two-run double, giving Osteen all the run support he would need.
