Flash: Krystal Flash or Flash Accent, Peacock
Back: Bucktail, Green
Belly: Bucktail, White
Gills: Lacquer, Red
Eyes: 1/8" flat stick-on eyes, silver
Head: Epoxy



The Thunder Creek - Emerald Shiner is a developed by Keith Fulsher and is on (of many) in his Thunder Creek Series of flies.  A streamer fly he developed and first published about in the 1960's.  Fortunately, he updated his original book in 2005 and expanded on the style of tying.  This is the first in a series of Thunder Creek tying videos I am doing demonstrating and discussing all the steps to create Thunder Creek streamers.  The Emerald Shiner is one of the most basic in this style of tying.  A good introductory fly. --Enjoy
