Cape Nosappu the Easternmost point of mainland Japan Nemuro

Cape Nosappu, the easternmost point of the Japanese island of Hokkaido, is located in the city of Nemuro. I traveled from Kushiro to Nemuro by train, then took a bus to Cape Nosappu—it was a long trip. Cape Nosappu is the last bus stop, so you won’t miss it. Bus tickets can be purchased at the tourist information center, which is located across the road. You can collect a certificate of arrival from the Nemuro City Northern Territory Museum after getting off the bus. Make sure you check the bus timetable, as you’ll be catching the same bus back to Nemuro station, unless you want to stay longer.
