In this video, I take you on a complete journey through Mahabaleshwar —
a story that begins in the ancient temples of Old Mahabaleshwar
and unfolds across the most breathtaking viewpoints, waterfalls, jungles,
and the vibrant local market.

We start at the Mahabaleshwar Temple,
the origin of the hill station’s name,
followed by the sacred Panchganga Temple,
where five holy rivers emerge from a single cow-shaped outlet.
Just 200 meters ahead, we explore the peaceful Krishnabai Temple,
believed to be the birthplace of the Krishna River.

From history, we move into nature —
heading straight to the iconic Arthur’s Seat,
also known as the “Queen of Points,”
named after Sir Arthur Malet and the tragic story connected to the valley below.
Then we visit Monkey Point, Elphinstone Point,
and the famous cluster of Kate’s Point and Needle Hole (Elephant) Point,
where an elephant-shaped rock formation steals the show.

Next, we arrive at Venna Lake,
a beautiful blue lake surrounded by greenery,
where boating is the main experience.
We continue our journey to the stunning Lingmala Waterfall,
one of the most cinematic locations in Mahabaleshwar.

From there, we head deep into the forest
to reach the surprising and lesser-known Plato Point,
a massive flat surface formed on top of a single giant rock —
a hidden rooftop in the middle of the jungle.

Finally, we end our journey at the lively Mahabaleshwar Market,
filled with strawberries, jams, honey, chikki, local spices,
street food and colourful shops that bring the true flavour of the hill station to life.
