A home run cable connects a scale’s junction box with its weight indicator. Used in four-wire or six-wire configurations, home run cables do not have color codes. However, it may be convenient to use the same color code as the scale’s load cell. This video demonstrates a home run cable’s connection process.
Please note, this is a demonstration video; technicians should always use the indicator’s cable gland when connecting wires. For more information, visit www.ricelake.com.
