The Swedish Lesser White-Fronted Goose is an endangered species, with fewer than 200 individuals remaining. Since the 1970s, scientists, conservationists and volunteers have been running a project to save the species and strengthen the wild population.
Fjällräven provides financial support to the project through a partnership with The Swedish Association for Hunting and Wildlife Management, which hosts one of the captive breeding locations at its headquarters in Öster Malma, Sweden. Here we learn about the conservation team’s work as they prepare the birds for release into the unspoilt wilderness of the Arctic Circle.
