Natural CURE for Diarrhea!? 😧

The majority of diarrhea cases are self limited and don’t require antibiotics. Unfortunately, symptomatic meds like loperamide are only marginally effective. C. diff is an example of one organism that DOES need antibiotic treatment. Typically these patients have profuse, watery stool, and a history of advanced age, recent antibiotic use, hospitalization, and/or severe comorbid illness.

The most important things for patients to focus on regardless of the cause: staying hydrated and keeping electrolytes replenished. Pedialyte, Pedialyte, Pedialyte!!
