내가 세상에서 가장 훌륭한 운전자가 아니라는 것은 알아. 그리고 솔직하게 말하자면 제한속도를 안지킬 때도 많지만 대체적으로는 최대한 책임감 있게 운전하려고 하고 무엇보다 다른 운전자를 최대한 방해하지 않으려고 해. 그동안 인내심도 많이 길렀어. 느린 운전자는 이제 아예 신경 쓰이지도 않고 고속도로 출구에서 끼어드는 것도 참을 수 있고 심지어 길 막힐 때 창문 밖으로 담배 연기 뿜는 운전자도 참을 수 있어. 근데 한 가지 정말 참기 어려운 것이 있는데 그건 바로 지나친 경적의 사용이야. 내가 알기로, 경적은 다른 운전자에게 경고하기 위한 것이지 그들을 혼내기 위한 것이 아니야.

I admit that I'm not the best driver in the world and if I'm being totally honest, it's not at all unusual for me to drive above the speed limit. But, most of the time, I try to drive as responsibly as I can and, most importantly, I try my best not to get in the way of other drivers. Over the years, I've developed a lot of patience as well. Slow drivers don't bother me at all now. I can live with drivers cutting in front of me at highway exits. I can even put up with drivers who blow cigarette smoke out their windows in heavy traffic. But there's something that I really have a hard time with and that's excessive use of car horns. From what I understand, car horns are meant to be used as a way of alerting other drivers and not as a way of punishing them.
