Sitting Bull’s Burial Sites

Highway 83 Part 9. Learn about the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation, which straddles the North and South Dakota border. We are continuing our historical series on sites along the Road to Nowhere. Take a look into some sad Native American history from the late 1800s. Hear about the famous events that shaped the history of this region. Next week we will head to Mandan and Bismarck, North Dakota to begin to wrap up this amazing series on a lesser known American Byway.
