In this video I show you how to do a belly dance hip snap or "hip bump".
Sit with knees bent, feet under hips or slightly closer to midline and focus on contracting in the obliques (the space between the top of the hip and the bottom of the ribcage). To get sharper movement you can also focus on contracting the glutes, especially in the top where the hamstring attaches to the glute.
