For the first Wednesday this month, we decided to record this awesome 'bolt in Mount Carmel. I've had this one on my record list for a while since word on the street was that it's extremely loud, and I wanted to hear just how loud it actually is. I was originally planning on recording this back in April, but the county ended up canceling that month due to inclement weather and I hadn't gotten around to trying this again until now. I was originally expecting this to be around the same volume as Wapakoneta's 'bolt, but honestly, this blows Wapak out of the water. This is easily in the top 3 loudest Thunderbolts I've heard to date; it was overall at least on par with, if not slightly louder than the one at Station 50. My meter topped at 118 dBA, and Tommy's hit an astounding 123.6 dBC, and it rattled my chest and bones quite a bit when it faced me. Needless to say, this beast definitely didn't disappoint, and I'm glad we came here today. Enjoy!
