Free Rein filming locations in Anglesey

A spring weekend in May to visit all the Free Rein Filming Locations in and around Anglesey. A Netflix TV show, called Free Rein based on an island off the coast of the UK inspired by Anglesey.

On my travels, I visited Bolesworth Castle, The Boathouse in Ellesmere, crossed the Menai bridge into Anglesey based in the north corner of Wales, Beaumaris, where I took a small boat ride to Puffin Island, a Taylor Swift themed Cafe called August, Trwyn Du Lighthouse, ate a massive scone at Wavecrest Cafe at Church bay near Holyhead, ending the second day watching the sunset at Newborough forest where I spotted dolphins and seals at sea, and stopped off at Cholmondeley castle on the way home.
