DIY Retro Cell Phone Handset: Making a vintage prop phone play sound or music

Simple rewiring of a retro 1960's telephone so that it can be used as a cell phone headset. This how to DIY telephone hack shows the tools process required for you to do it yourself and make your own retro handset for telephone receiver to work on any device with a 3.5mm headphone jack. This technique was used to help create the visually interesting world of Philip K. Dick’s Man in the High Castle. Especially useful for making phones that playback music or sound effects for escape rooms and haunted houses. This basic wiring for vintage phones that makes them work as a speaker.
