What can one say about the laws of the land? There are the laws of the land. The laws set in place to abide by the laws of the land, and then there are the unseen laws of the land. The ones that are all of the above but may or may not be practiced. These laws are not without consequences. Kevin Pike is a seasoned expert in real estate and probate for Coldwell Banker. He specializes in working with seniors for a reason. Seniors, although with their years of living experience, may not understand the language of technology and are the most susceptible to scams. Our present state of affairs reminds me of the hit song by Amy Winehouse, "What Kind of Fuckery of This"? Have we not done these things before? As a planet, have we not hated, murdered, lied, cheated, and stolen from those very mouths that we promised to feed? Kevin had a few things to say about new policies, particularly those involving fees paid to the insurance agents with the problem of who should pay these fees, the buyer or seller. We talked about landlords and the difference in laws applying to them and to those who are homeowners.
