Soft Contact Lenses have the benefits of
Easy to learn how to put in
Available immediately or within several days
Easy to clean
Can be disposable
Available in many powers
Gives Good clear vision
Can adapt to them and feel comfortable within minutes
Cons: Can be expensive and may not come in your powers

Gas Permeable Contact Lenses (Hard contacts)
Can be tailor made to your eyes
Provides EXCELLENT vision
Can last years
Are often cheaper than soft lenses
Cons: Takes longer to fit/ more doctor visits
Required careful lens cleaning and maintenance
Takes longer to adapt to lenses and may be uncomfortable for several days to weeks
