This is something most will never have to do but the old tricks used on previous Yamaha SxS models won't work such as using the long bearing support cage bolt. You'll need to purchase 2 M6-1 x 50 mm long bolts but 45 mm long may also work. If you're simply doing maintenance then removing the sheaves is easier since you have to remove them anyways.

https://www.wolverineforums.com/threa... This is just meant to be taken light heartedly and he did bring up a good point as I don't believe anyone has ever had to replace an RMAX belt in the field (they simply limped back to the trailer and called it a day from playing U-Boat commander).
