Join us for a stroll around Lauriston Castle grounds and the Japanese Garden!
This hidden gem is located just outside Edinburgh's city centre near Cramond. The tower house was built in the 16th century with extensions added in the 19th century. The house was left to the nation when the owners died without any heirs, as per their will and is now managed by the Museums & Galleries Edinburgh.
The grounds include croquet lawns, an apiary, rose garden, greenhouse, cafe and the peaceful Japanese Garden which are a sight to behold when the sakura bloom each Spring!
