In this video, I show an analytical method for solving a scenario with a race between two people. In the first scenario, you are told how long the race is and who wins, plus the amount they finished in first. It then looks at who would win a second race if the winner started behind the starting line in the amount they won by. It also looks at who would win if the original winner started back further. Finally, it looks at how can I solve to see how far back the original winner needs to start for the two to finish at the same time. It is a good example of using distance = rate * time.
