Govt Employees Clash with Police After Failed Talks

A protest by the Sindh Employees Alliance outside the Karachi Press Club remained tense after failed negotiations with the provincial government. Protesters attempted to march toward the Red Zone but were stopped by police near Fawara Chowk.

Law enforcement responded with crowd control measures, including water cannons and tear gas, leading to several injuries and detentions.

The protesters are demanding a 70% increase in salaries and pensions, with plans to expand demonstrations across Sindh if their demands are not met.
