3 Days in Bermuda: The Best Excursions & We Did it Ourselves

If you're sailing to Bermuda but don't know what to do, then this is the video for you. We experience three great days exploring beaches, historic towns and forts on this beautiful island. If you've never been to Bermuda before or even if you have experienced this wonderful island, we bet you will learn something you did not know before.

We board a one-week cruise with our friends Amber and Shawn and we sail from Manhattan, New York to Bermuda aboard the Norwegian Joy. We leave the ship with very little idea of what we are going to do each day. We still manage to have three extraordinary days seeing some of the best sites on Bermuda.

Our first day is spent lounging on the sand in Tobacco Bay where we wade and swim among the beautiful rock formations. Then we walk around the historic city of St. George enjoying the many sites there. On day 2, we take a taxi to Horseshoe Bay, one of the most famous pink sand beaches in the world. We see beautiful rocky beach coves, and spot wildlife including the Bermuda Longtail bird. In the evening we board a catamaran and take a sunset cruise where we experience the Bermudan tradition of drinking Rum Swizzles at the waterfront. On our last day we venture out into the Navy Dockyard where there are numerous activities available for all the cruisers as well as restaurants and bars. We explore the massive Keep and the National Museum of Bermuda seeing numerous military artifacts and defensive structures.
