In this video, we will build a Potentiometer-Controlled 360° Servo Motor System using an Arduino Uno, Tower Pro Continuous Rotation Servo Motor, and a potentiometer 🎛️⚙️. This hands-on project is perfect for beginners learning Arduino and for anyone interested in robotics, automation, and DIY electronics.
🔹 Project Overview:
A servo motor is commonly used when you need precise control of movement—but with a continuous rotation servo, you can go a full 360°! In this project, you’ll use a potentiometer to manually control the speed and direction of the servo motor. Turn the knob left or right, and watch the motor respond instantly—perfect for creating remote-controlled robots, camera pans, and moving platforms.
🔹 Components Required:
✔️ Arduino Board (Uno, Nano, or Mega)
✔️ Tower Pro Continuous Rotation Servo Motor (or SG90 for limited angle)
✔️ Potentiometer (with pins Y, X, B, V, G)
✔️ Jumper Wires (Male to Male / Male to Female)
✔️ Breadboard (optional)
✔️ Laptop or PC with Arduino IDE
🔹 What You’ll Learn:
✅ How a potentiometer works and how it sends analog signals to Arduino
✅ How to connect and control a continuous rotation servo motor
✅ Mapping potentiometer values to servo speed and direction
✅ Practical applications for robotics and automation
