Visited Norway in January 2020. Perfect time to go if you wish to see the countries most famous spots without massive tourism. We had places like Preikestolen and Trolltunga all for ourselves. None to be seen around.
However, a hike to Trolltunga during winter isn't for everybody. Only attempt to do this when you are fit and willing to hike 12 hours in cold weather, snow and wind. Hard, but worth it!
