Something that I’ve never talked about before...

My divorce
I felt like a failure
I felt like I was better than a statistic
And yet I became one of the 50% (maybe higher idk)

I remember feeling great when I went to train in Austin (my new home)

But when I got back to my apartment I had felt a loneliness and I deafening silence
That I had no way of preparing for

So I wrote this song
It was the first song I'd ever written and it was almost exactly 5 years ago to this day
I recorded it on this yeti microphone that I used to make my YouTube videos
And I still have that recording

Fast forward to a few months ago
I was blessed to have been partnered up with a legendary
Irish folk band called The High Kings

They helped massively in bringing me back to that place
Back to those lonely days in my north Austin single bedroom apartment

Something that I never thought would come to life…did
And im deeply proud of it

I am beyond blessed to have the support from the amazing people who performed on this record
And of course Greenback Records. The people who have believed in me and my music and helped make this song possible.
