For an introductory college-level oceanography class. Review of marine productivity and plankton. Developed for an introductory-level oceanography course.
ERRATA: This video uses an old taxonomical classification for seaweeds.
The old PROTISTA Kingdom was split in two. All of the organisms that we talk about in an Oceanography lab come from the new split-off kingdom: Chromista, including the single-celled plankton discussed in this video: diatoms, dinoflagellates, coccolithophores, foraminifera, and radiolaria.
