This is a full-length (50-minute) tutorial for my HIRricane mod, featuring my custom-designed 3D parts. The capacity of this version is 90 balls, with a quick load flip top. These are available on my website in four colors listed for sale in the link below. I STRONGLY recommend watching the whole video before starting your mod. It will save you time in the long run.
This video took 10 hours to shoot, and another whole day to edit. I hope it’s complete, but was a challenge to shoot due to the complexity of the mod. I’ll do my best to get annotations for table of contents.
NOTE: The current version does NOT need the Voltage boost circuit, as the new fan is much stronger. It also doesn't require shell cutting.
UPDATE:
Due to our supplier no longer carrying the appropriate fans, and due to the discontinuation of the Nerf Rival Zeus as a product available on shelves, we came to the unfortunate decision to discontinue selling kits and fully assembled HIR-ricanes.
However, we do sell our Proton Pack, which can be adapted to work with virtually any rival-compatible blaster -- including the Zeus:
