State of the Valley concluded with a keynote by columnist David Brooks (The New York Times, PBS NewsHour), who addressed the civic, relational, and moral crises shaping today’s political moment — crises that have been decades in the making. Exploring divisions around merit, income, education, and morality, Brooks stresses the need to restore the bonds that connect us. Despite challenges ahead, the nation will heal, but healing must begin with recognizing and respecting individuals, ensuring everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

On March 7, the 2025 State of the Valley conference, Silicon Valley's annual town meeting, brought together leaders from all sectors to assess the region’s direction.
