Odisha Govt Plans New Lok Seva Bhawan / Subhadra Shakti Bazaar / Second Trisulia Bridge Soon

The Odisha government has announced plans to construct a new Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar. This move comes as the existing facility faces issues of space shortage and parking challenges, making the new building a much-needed step for better public service management.

In another major decision, the state government will set up Subhadra Shakti Bazaar to support women-led Self-Help Groups (SHGs). This initiative will provide a dedicated marketplace for SHG products, thereby boosting entrepreneurship, women empowerment, and local economic growth.

Additionally, a second bridge will be constructed over the Kathajodi River at Trisulia. The project aims to reduce traffic congestion between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, ensuring smoother connectivity for commuters and strengthening the region’s infrastructure network.
