Airzone Flexa 2.0 configuration

In this video we are showing the basic configuration of an Airzone Flexa 2.0 system.

We are going to use simple 3 zones system. Before configuring we must ensure that everything is correctly wired, thermostats, motors, communication gateway and power supply. Once wiring is checked we proceed to give power supply to the system.

After initialization is finished, wired thermostats will prompt us for required parameters. Let us start with the Blueface configuration. First parameter is language selection. For this example let us select English and confirm by pressing on the icon at the lower-right corner. We follow with the zone number configuration that corresponds to the motor output on the system main controller that we want to control from this thermostat. In this case we select output one. Basic configuration continues with the slave outlet configuration. For this example we do want no slave outlet so we confirm by pressing on the lower-right corner. Last parameter to be configured is the principal thermostat. In this example we are setting the Blueface to be the principal thermostat. This way zone one basic configuration is finished.

Airzone Flexa 2.0 system is designed to avoid configuration mistakes. Thanks to this design, once a zone number is in use, the system will not let us choose it. That is why Tacto thermostat automatically offers zone number two as zone number one is already selected by the Blueface. We just confirm by pressing on the Airzone icon. We do not want any slave outlet so we confirm again. Now everything is done for wired Tacto thermostat.

In the case of wireless Tacto thermostat configuration is almost the same as for wired Tacto thermostats, but adding the association. To do so we need to set the main system controller waiting for thermostats to associate. We do so by pressing on the button shown. A red LED will indicate that association process is open. On the wireless Tacto Thermostat, with the indication SCAN shown on the screen, we press on the Airzone icon until it associates with main system controller. We will know that it is associated when it prompts us for the zone number. The rest of the configuration process stays the same as for wired tacto thermostats. We confirm zone number 3 and no slave outlets.

Whit this last configuration basic system configuration is accomplished and system is ready to work. Only, if necessary, communication gateway microswitch configuration is to be done.
