Cherry Blossoms at Shitougang Park in Chiayi County, Taiwan 🇹🇼
🌸 It is cherry blossom season! I heard about a popular cherry blossom spot in the neighboring county, and since I do not like traveling far, it felt like the perfect place to visit — we could even get there by scooter.
🍃 We went there last March 1, 2025. It was a little too late. The cherry blossoms were already past their blooming peak. Rather than feeling disappointed, we explored the park and discovered hiking trails we did not even know existed. Since we love hiking, we decided to go anyway — even though our outfits were not exactly ideal. A reminder that even when plans do not go perfectly, the journey can still be worth it.
