If you’re new to my channel, my name is Dr. Vikram Raya. Here's my story so far...

22 yrs old: Graduated from Emory University. Headed to medical school with dreams of helping others avoid the heart issues that plagued my family.

26 yrs old: Earned my M.D. and began my journey through internal medicine, then cardiology fellowship.

33 yrs old: Finally became an attending cardiologist. Salary: ~$250,000. Net worth: negative.

33 yrs old: Working 60–80 hour weeks across 5 hospitals. Constantly on call. Burnt out. Stuck.

34 yrs old: Started looking at ways to earn income outside of medicine. Tried options trading (got my butt kicked), settled on real estate. Bought my first property: a $26,000 home in Atlanta.

35 yrs old: Scaled to ~30 single family homes While it was nice, it wasn't nearly enough to replace my medical income.

36 yrs old: Started working with my first coach, who taught me about multifamily real estate.

37 yrs old: Bought my first apartment building for $5 million (start of Viking Capital). I didn't have $1 million for the downpayment, so I put in ~$100k and got the remainder from a few doctors I knew.

39 yrs old: We bought that deal for $5 million, put ~$3 million into it, and sold it for ~$13 million. This deal paid me seven figures.

40 yrs old: My seven figure payout combined with the other multifamily deals I owned allowed me to retire from traditional cardiology with an 8 figure net worth.

40 yrs old: Started my dream functional medicine clinic, the Vitology Institute, to help reverse disease. Built it into a 7 figure business that helped hundreds of patients get off prescription drugs and transform their health.

42 yrs old: Pandemic hit. My in person clinic had to shut down, but my real estate company was booming. Many of the doctors I knew started coming to me for advice. These informal sessions eventually turned into Limitless MD — a coaching company designed to help healthcare professionals achieve time and financial freedom.

Today: Limitless MD has coached over 200 clients — from doctors to healthcare CEOs and even non healthcare professionals. Viking Capital has officially crossed over $1B in real estate transactions.
