Go from buying expensive natural deodorants to hardly buying anything at all. This video is about this simple deodorant hack that a friend taught me. I heard from a fellow coworker about her struggle with breast cancer and how during this time her doctor recommended to her that she stay away from regular deodorant. Since that conversation, I was left wondering how it's possible that such harmful ingredients are allowed to be sold in store, and that they be harmful enough that those suffering from breast cancer be warned against using them by doctors. I stopped buying regular deodorant and began looking for more natural alternatives. Natural deodorant can be found an health food stores, and online but can often be expensive. Natural is not an officially defined term, and holds no legal basis in the cosmetics or food industry. This means that when something says 'natural' it can also have harmful ingredients. Then a friend told me in 2015 about using just sodium bicarbonate and its very simple and super cheap and effective. I have done this ever since. It's a great and simple way to stop odor and still let the body do its thing and sweat when exercising. To smell good, you can add your own scent. Baking soda is very inexpensive, and can be found in almost every country for a very low price. Baking soda is alkaline and will create an environment that bacteria do not like to thrive in. You can even add it to your existing natural deodorant for an extra punch of clean.
