The quality compared to a year ago when it comes to AI video generation has improved significantly, with 1080 resolution output from Kling Pro and upscaling up to 4k, videos and shorts can be very high quality nowadays, competing with traditional videography as well as CGI and 3D. The advantage of AI is the effort, time, and cost-effectiveness for great results with the downside being that you don't have as much control over things vs any other method. This will likely change soon though as generative AI keeps advancing.
