The Manumea or Tooth-Billed Pigeon is an extremely unique bird only found in Samoa. Known for cracking open tough fruits with its serrated beak, it has much that makes it unique. Unfortunately, it is also Critically Endangered, with only a handful left. Take a look, as I dive into the biology and conservation of this unusual bird.
