「临终关怀」好好说再见 陪伴善终 | Palliative Care: Bidding the Final Goodbye

您曾想过，当自己面临死亡的那一刻，会是怎样的一个情况？死亡，对部分人来说，很忌讳，也很敏感，但是自然法则谁也逃不过，人生必经之路。对于临终病人来说，分分秒秒的过去，都是向死亡迈进，旁人的陪伴和正向引导非常重要。新加坡慈济医疗志业自2016年增设”居家临终护理服务”，以团队接力合作，陪伴照顾临终病者与家属，好好走向终点。

Have you ever wondered what will happen when it is time for you to bid goodbye to this world? Death is a taboo and sensitive issue to many. However, no one has ever defied this law of nature. For dying patients, every passing minute and second is a step closer to death. Hence, the companionship and guidance from people around them are very important. Tzu Chi Singapore’s Medical Mission included “Home-based Palliative Care” into its list of services in 2016. Medical staff and volunteers would work as a team to accompany palliative care patients and their families to face the final journey in life together.
