Here is a series of sight-reading videos I will be posting from time to time. The solos are played first with a click track and then without. No repeats are observed.
These are from books I use with my students to improve
their sight-reading abilities. The material in this episode is taken from Fred Albright's book Contemporary Studies for Snare Drum.
The book is published by Belwin Mills and is still available.
I highly recommend purchasing this book as it is full of challenging etudes.
You can slow these recordings down in the settings if you need to do that.
The snare drum I am using is a 14" x 6.5" Hinger drum.
