FE11 Random Reclass Run - Chapter 4: Battle in the Lea

I've had the feeling that something has been missing in my life, and no doubt that something is new Fire Emblem runs. Everyone knows to expect new LTC content, which I don't always finish or don't finish immediately, and there are some older runs I feel like coming back sometime.

Now, for me there's no better way to get back into the series than do something in... Shadow Dragon of all titles. On some level, nothing really beats the simplicity of its reclass mechanic. Before each chapter, we use the RNG to decide who is going to reclass into which class, but also who is going to get fielded. The run is done on H2 difficulty, as H5 or lower would be too hard for units who rolled very weak reclasses that fail to function properly.

The characters on the list are the only charaters still alive, as I must admit I've been killing people off. This both allows going into gaiden maps for maximum content and lets me get the active party I most want nearly all the time - not letting the RNG control me too much in unexpected ways. One thing I've always wanted to do is record a run where Ogma, Barst, Bord and Cord are an actual group aiding one another with supports. That's not something you'd arrange on an H5 LTC run.

Barst was the luckiest here, getting one of his two axe classes (3/6 classes are axe classes when he promotes, by the way, and the same applies to all male units in his class set). The least likely? Has to be Bord. Would you look at that final level-up...

This was yet another handy chapter to score a few kills in our own army while making progress on the map. Cord's tanking was pretty strong, and he managed to emerge with two speed level-ups his slow class at that time notwithstanding.
