Is What They Say True?? ONE DAY in SAN FRANCISCO with KIDS! Full-time RV family ~ Ep 59

In this episode, we took a day trip without the RV to San Francisco! We experienced a cable car for the first time, saw the Golden Gate Bridge, had delicious food, and saw the Full House house!

We had considered not going due to safety concerns with children and we did have a scary thing happen during the day. We had only just gotten off the cable car and had time to walk inside one store before we witnessed a man (clearly strung out on something) defecate on the sidewalk in front of the Sephora on Powell St. The man then started walking around getting up in strangers faces yelling at them, so we figured it was time to go back. It was pretty unnerving. I (Ashley) lived in the city of Chicago for 3 years and have never seen anything like that happen.

The other unfortunate thing was the public bathrooms we went into near our lunch reservation. There was extremely inappropriate graffiti all over the walls inside the ladies room, and so I had to cover Presley's eyes the entire time we were in there.

But having said that, it was a gorgeous day and overall we were very glad that we went! Parking was a breeze and we even got a deal. Our lunch at Boudin Bakery was wonderful, as was dessert at Ghirardelli Chocolates! Then we took some gorgeous photos of the Golden Gate Bridge and I got to take a photo in front of the Full House house! Lastly, we went to see the famous Painted Ladies.

We would do it again, but next time we would not get off the cable car!
