Saker falcon
Scientific name: Falco cherrug
The saker falcon is a large falcon species. It breeds from Central Europe eastwards across the Palearctic to Manchuria. It is a partial migrant, which means that some part of the population is migratory, some part is not.
The European and West Asian migratory sakers spend the winter in the Sahel region. On migration, they cross the Middle East, the Arabian Peninsula, and Pakistan. The migratory birds to the east from Altai Mountains spend the winter in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
The saker falcon is the second fastest bird in level flight after the white-throated needletail swift (unconfirmed), capable of reaching 150 km/h (93 mph). It is also the third fastest animal in the world overall after the peregrine falcon and the golden eagle, with all three species capable of executing high speed dives known as "stooping", approaching 300 km/h (190 mph).
The saker falcon is the national bird of Hungary, and Mongolia. It is called by Arabs Hur, i.e., "Free-bird", and it has been used in falconry in the Arabian Peninsula since ancient times.
Saker falcons are the national bird of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and have been integral to Arab heritage and culture for over 9,000 years. They are the national emblem of many Arab countries.
The saker falcon is a large hierofalcon, at 45 to 57 cm (18 to 22 in) length with a wingspan of 97 to 126 cm (38 to 50 in). Males weigh between 730 to 990 g (26 to 35 oz) and females 970 to 1,300 g (34 to 46 oz).
The saker falcon is a raptor of open grasslands preferably, and feeds mainly on rodents and birds. In Europe, ground squirrels and feral pigeons are the most common prey items.

Also known as Arabian grosbeak is a finch found in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Yemen. The population is estimated at around 9000 individuals, but it is becoming rare due to habitat destruction.

The white-eared bulbul is a member of the bulbul family. It is found in India, much of Pakistan, southern Afghanistan, coastal Iran, as well as much of the two-river basin in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the island of Bahrain.

Iraqi Eagle - Golden eagle
Scientific name: Aquila chrysaetos
The golden eagle is a bird of prey living in the Northern Hemisphere. It is the most widely distributed species of eagle. The genus Aquila is distributed across every continent but for South America and Antarctica.
The golden eagle is a very large raptor, 66 to 102 cm in length. Its wings are broad and the wingspan is 1.8 to 2.34 metres. Females are larger than males females average around 5.1 kg (11 lb).
When diving after prey, a golden eagle can reach 240 to 320 kilometres per hour (150 to 200 mph). In 2017 the French Army trained golden eagles to catch drones.

The Sinai rosefinch is a species of finch in the family Fringillidae. It is found in the Sinai Peninsula and the Negev region of the Middle East, within the borders of Egypt, Jordan, Palestine/Israel, and Saudi Arabia.

Northern bald ibis
Scientific name: Geronticus eremita
Northern bald ibis, hermit ibis, or waldrapp is a migratory bird, often close to running water. At 70 to 80 cm (28 to 31 in) long with a 125 to 135 cm (49 to 53 in) wingspan.
The northern bald ibis was once widespread across the Middle East, northern Africa, southern and central Europe. Reintroduction programs have been instituted internationally, in Turkey, Austria, Italy, Spain, and northern Morocco.

Asian crimson-winged finch
Scientific name: Rhodopechys sanguineus
The Asian crimson-winged finch is a pale-colored thickset finch with a heavy, dull yellowish bill. It is found from Turkey to NE Pakistan. It has an average length of 13 cm (5.1 in).
This species lives on rocky mountainsides, often at high elevation. It can be found in barren landscapes with little vegetation, and sometimes nests in rock crevices. It feeds on seeds, and during the winter descends to agricultural fields to find food.

Palestine sunbird
Scientific name: Cinnyris osea
Palestine sunbird, also known as the orange-tufted sunbird. Palestine sunbird is 8 to 12 cm long. Males have an average weight of 7.6 g. In 2015, the Palestinian Authority adopted the species as a national bird.
