With blessings of my Guru ji, I am sharing this bandish in Raag Durga which I have been practicing for a while. I am still not satisfied with how I have done, but I am happy to share the progress with you all.
Mata Bhavani is a drut bandish in Taal Teental. The tabla is bit low in volume, as it is playing from an drone app. Something I had to learn to live with throughout the lockdownSSS. I have learnt this bandish from my guru Vd. Arati Ankalikar. Her rendition of Durga is flawless and her creativity within the 5 notes just amazes me.
With this I also want to wish everyone a very happy Durga Ashthami and very happy festive season ahead!!!
