After what seemed to be one of the hardest years for us quickly turned into the best the last two weeks of October this year. I harvested an awesome buck in Pennsylvania we had named "Towers" on October 20th. Immediately was ready to keep it rolling into another state! With no leads in Ohio this year and lot of younger bucks on the farm that I typically hunt I decided to take a shot on an unfamiliar piece of public land. Did a days work of scouting and came across some very fresh sign, we set up in one of the best funnels I found and prayed for the best. On the third sit of Halloween morning I was presented an opportunity anyone could dream of, an Ohio giant at 10 yards. The rest is history! The recovery was something I've never seen before with him jumping almost 100 feet off a cliff into the water. What a story. Im thankful for amazing friends and these magnificent animals. I hope you all enjoy, this one meant a lot to me.
