Today we are cutting a new trail and expanding a beautiful new micro food plot with our John Deere 655C bulldozer! This machine is a force multiplier and a life and land game changer! Here is some background on our new bulldozer and some other project videos.

We need the Money!! PT 2 of 2 mini series of cutting a new driveway section for the logging trucks to avoid the asphault section of our Southern Missouri Ozarks driveway. IF YOU MISSED PART 1 HERE IS THE VIDEO LINK if you'd like to start there:

The asphault section is only on the steepest part of our driveway but our logger assured me that if I cut a new road alongside of it that the loggint trucks with be able to make use of it! Join me in the field today on our Southern Missouri Ozarks property as I begin my first actual digging project with our used/new to us 2006 John Deere 655C highlifter machine. I call it a bulldozer but other's might not agree but I'll tell you what this thing can move some serious dirt in short order! Uphill and on wet dirt as well!

We need more room! Maybe it's time for a new barn build or a metal carport to store all of our machine implements and get them out of the sun and rain! Join me for today's machine equipment episode of land clearing with our John Deere 655C highlifter bulldozer (aka crawler and track loader) as I clear roughly a half acre of overgrown woods in a matter of minutes. This machine is a game changer and force multiplier when it comes to clearing trees, cutting new roads and building ponds in the woods, oh and other dirt projects as well such as grading for a new pole barn!

Of course it is a used machine, it is a 2006 John Deere 655C crawler/dozer and it is the same machine that was used earlier this year for our land clearing project on our new Southern Missouri farm. Earlier this year we hired Trevor (who is featured in today's video) to do a mega land clearing project and this John Deere 655c crawler was one of the two machines that he used for the land clearing project. And after much thought and planning ahead we decided that this John Deere dozer would be a good equipment investment for our Missouri farm as there are so many land projects that need to be done, and I felt that this machine would eventually pay for itself down the road by putting it to use for land clearing projects, cutting new roads, making new food plot clearings and digging some new ponds as well as other land grading projects as well. So today Trevor is going to do an introduction and walk around video of this awesome earth moving machine and give me some maintenance tips as well as some instruction on how to operate this beast of a machine!
