Demon Slayer Season 5: End of the TV Anime? Infinity Castle Movie Trilogy Explained!

The 4th season of Demon Slayer, which adapted the Hashira Training Arc, may have been the final season of the anime on television. That’s because Aniplex has officially announced that the Infinity Castle Arc will be adapted into a movie trilogy!

Interestingly, in Japanese listings, the term “Infinity Castle Arc” seems to refer to the entire Final Battle Saga, not just the Infinity Castle events. This strongly suggests that the trilogy will adapt all the remaining manga arcs, leading up to the grand finale!

And unlike Mugen Train, which was later adapted into TV format in Season 2, this trilogy is unlikely to be retold as a TV season.

The release schedule for the first film is as follows:

Japan: July 18, 2025

Indonesia: August 15

Philippines: August 20

Latin America & Italy: September 11

India, UK & North America: September 12

France: September 17

Germany: September 25

With Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment handling the global release (except for a few select Asian countries), the goal is to bring the film to over 150 countries and regions, surpassing the previous worldwide rollout of the franchise!
