[잖아요] is a frequently used causal spoken sentence ending used in two situations.
First, state why the listener knew it but forgot and remind the listener of the reason. It can be translated to [As you know]. Second. To rebuke the listener for not having listened to advice. It can be translated to [Didn’t I tell you]. [잖아요] is an expression used to say something casually. It is not appropriate to use in formal situations.
