Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 Vapour-X

The popular Sapphire Vapor X series has grown again. After we had just been informed that the Chinese company will provide the middleclass DirectX 11 model Ati Radeon HD 5750 with the popular cooling concept first information leaked that AMD's new top model Ati Radeon HD 5870 will have the Vapor X cooler as well. Meanwhile first pictures and detailed specifications of the new card can be found in the internet.

Compared with the reference model the proven Vapor Chamber Technology of the Sapphire cooler will provide an even more efficient ventilation. Up to now Vapor X coolers usually have enabled lower sound volumes.

A further advantage compared to the former Sapphire standard Radeon HD 5870 model are the slightly overclocked GPU and memory frequencies. Instead of 850 MHz the graphics processor offers 870 MHz and the GDDR5 RAM has a clock of 2,500 MHz instead of the usual 2,400 MHz.
