Set on 345 acres of the historic Balcarres Estate, owned by the Earl of Crawford, Dumbarnie is carefully sculpted atop a sandy coastal landscape. Its dual elevations, dramatic dunes, and panoramic views of Largo Bay and the Firth of Forth offer a modern design blended with classic links tradition.

In 2021, it hosted the Women’s Scottish Open—a serious stamp of approval. And by 2025, it had earned the title of "Top Emerging Golf Course" in the UK, with a redesigned 10th hole enhancing its competitive credentials even further.
