A quick note on the grammar in the song: The lyrics were originally written as, "Hard work and kindness make the world go round." We sang it differently on the day as we performed this and other songs in one take. What we sang on this particular day, "Hard work and kindness makes the world go round", works grammatically as well, but you may consider the original lyric for use in your classroom.
