The Era3D method introduces a new technique for generating high-resolution multiview images from a single image, addressing issues in existing methods. It uses a diffusion-based camera prediction module and a row-wise attention layer to produce high-quality images up to 512x512 resolution while reducing computational complexity. The method outperforms baseline methods in reconstructing detailed 3D meshes from single-view images and is supported by the Hong Kong Generative AI Research & Development Center and GPU resources from HKUST and DreamTech.
