This is the opening title sequence from “Shetland,” a BBC Scotland crime drama based primarily on Ann Cleeves’ series of novels about Detective Inspector Jimmy Perez, a former Glasgow cop now working the cold but not-so-mean streets (and pasturelands) of Scotland’s far-north Shetland Islands. Douglas Henshall won a 2016 BAFTA award for his performance as Perez. “Shetland” debuted in 2013 and has already run for three seasons, with a fourth in production.
