Since its founding in 1929, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)'s mission has been to display the art of our time. That has meant embracing new expressions and new technologies along the decades––from digital to bio and now, AI. What does this evolution entail from a curatorial point of view? What are the advantages AI offers, and the pitfalls it presents, in design and art? Paola Antonelli, Senior Curator of Architecture & Design at MoMA, joins Professor Zach Lieberman, head of the Future Sketches research group at the MIT Media Lab, to discuss these issues and more.
