Taking my first flight journey was a mix of excitement and joyful. The trip began in the breathtaking city of **Srinagar**, surrounded by the majestic Himalayas and pristine lakes. As I reached **Srinagar Airport**, I was struck by the tight security and calm atmosphere. After checking in and clearing security, I waited near the boarding gate, watching planes take off and land — a surreal moment for someone flying for the first time.

As I boarded the plane, a mix of fear and thrill ran through me. The moment the aircraft lifted off the ground, I felt the slight pressure in my ears and the butterflies in my stomach — but also an immense joy. Through the window, the aerial view of the snow-capped mountains and green valley was simply unforgettable.

After about **1 hour 30 minutes**, we landed at **Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi**. The layover gave me a chance to explore the bustling terminals filled with people, shops, and announcements. It felt like a mini city within a building! I grabbed a quick bite and waited at the next gate for my connecting flight.

Soon, it was time to board the flight to **Kolkata**. By now, I felt more comfortable. The flight from Delhi to Kolkata took around **2 hours**. Watching the clouds float by and the sun setting in the distance was magical. As we descended over Kolkata, the sprawling city lights sparkled below.

Finally, we landed at **Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport**, and I stepped out with a heart full of memories and pride. My first flight journey had turned out to be smooth, thrilling, and something I would cherish forever.
